Yes! You have to be instructed not just before your first jump. Usually the instruction takes 4-8h (depends on what kind of jump you have chosen). If doing a tandem skydive the instruction takes about 30min.

If you had jumped 1-2 weeks before you don‘t have to listen to the instructions. If more time had passed, you have to listen to the whole instruction once again.
